Welcome to Purpose Potential™ Podcast where we discuss the realities of walking out your God-given purpose. Growing up, I never imagined that I'd be where I am today. The best path for me turned out to be what God wanted for me (a.k.a. purpose). Through this podcast, I'll be sharing more about my personal journey with navigating purpose as well as introducing you to successful guests that are purpose-driven trailblazers in their own right. My goal is to inspire you to stay the course along your personal purpose journey and live life in authenticity and alignment.
Joining me for Ep. 24 is my friend and colleague, Genesis A. Emery. Genesis is a social entrepreneur, speaker, global philanthropist, and the host & producer of “Mamas Making Money Mondays.” She is also the founder of “The Little Dapper Collection” - a children’s bow tie company that grooms little boys into dapper young gentlemen, while raising awareness and giving back a percentage of proceeds to children with special needs, as well as mother to her 5-year-old son, Noah.
Additionally, Genesis is the founder of a non-profit organization for Chicago’s underprivileged youth called “The Little Dapper Project” and the founder of “The Amour Genesis Project” which provides essential items and resources for residents in underserved communities across Chicago. Genesis is a special needs advocate for children with special needs and unique medical challenges, as well as the Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy at Promotion Pilot - a leading integrated marketing agency.
In this episode, we discuss:
- The growth process associated with coming into purpose
- The importance of "right relationships" on your purpose journey
- How motherhood shaped her decision-making and became a catalyst to her purpose pursuit
- Advice to those that have one foot in and one foot out of their next level
